“When a tree falls down in the middle of the forest without no one hearing it: what noise does it make?”
The kōans are dialogues that promote the reflection from a question that aparently doesn’t make sense, with the intention of disorienting the logical - rational discursive
thought, provoking a mental shock.
After my visit to CERN (Particle accelerator), in a minimal approach to the quantum
physics world, I experience an uncertainty sensation, it´s like a kōan realized by a
Zen teacher, that in front of such a magnitude of abstract concepts we are surrounded,
arduous of assimilating with a logical reasoning.
My reaction to such a stimulus is a dialogue of images, textures, interpretations
that arise from the approach to this fascinating microcosm, the one of the elementary
particles.
